Busy social pressure for the potential of adult toys – adult toys, the market potential – the toy industry
Busy society to “do not want to grow up” more and more people, because the adult work and life pressures beyond imagination, so many adults love toys, market participants noted that Adult Toys Consumer market presents tremendous opportunities.
According to Shanghai Financial News reported that brought toys, people’s first reaction is always a child. But now, the kids toys are non-proprietary. Nowadays, to counter consumer toys, in addition to children, many adult as if the “adults”
Blocks , Checkers, Yang Doll , A Dream, Transformers toys and cartoon … … these are associated with a carefree childhood. In people’s traditional values, children’s toys that belong to the patent. However, the era of development, toys audience is also changing. Today, children no longer play at earlier patent. If one day you see a female office colleagues holding doll, or the general manager are placed in steam room Car model , Do not feel funny, because they are very likely an adult “toy family.”
Adults can play with toys? Yes. Modern society, the adult work and life stress are beyond imagination, it requires the use of some form of release. The toy is a good choice. Such as adult Educational Toys Although a high degree of difficulty at first glance, but once resolved, will not be so difficult to find. Through games not only ease the pressure, but also exercise of thinking, it is consistent with adults “play” requirements.
Playful spirit Although 28-year-old girl named Xiao Liu
, but gestures like a child yet. She likes to wear a bow tie, Puff Sleeve A-word doll dress, foot straps flat heels, shoulders and back printed Garfield Cartoon design package, but not love to wear a “seriousness” of adult clothing, do not like the daily nine to five job. In response, Xiao Liu do not feel special because of her circle of friends in quite a few “big kids”?? Prefer to replace wages toys, interested in saving money did not buy a house, buy a car.
33-year-old Wang is the mother, but still placed on the dressing table and Crayon Shinchan Snoopy Doll. She likes hair type haircut, carrying LV bag but with HelloKitty mobile phone sets, Chanel lipstick mixed with HelloKitty absorbing tissues, … … In short, everything is not in accordance with “adult” and common sense out the card.
34-year-old Lee has done a 10-year civil service, the biggest hobby is playing every day to go home Games Weekends often play online games with friends until midnight. He was a cartoon fan, “Crayon Shinchan,” “Tom and Jerry” are often out of view lines by heart in it.
Look, so many nostalgic adults, “adult” toys is of course not surprising enthusiasm. Data show that in Western society, the phenomenon of adults to maintain naive mentality has always existed. In East Asia and the economically developed cities in China, 20-40, generation of young, adult children of this trend has intensified.
Now, in the United States, more than 40% of the toys are designed and manufactured for adults. In Japan, according to a survey, aged 18-69 years old adults, 84% have at least one cartoon toys, and nearly half as much per person more than 20 toys.
China is the toy producing country, adult toy market also has great potential for development. A survey shows that 64% of consumers said that conditions would consider buying the right toys, of which 33% of adults think that they like and are willing to buy toys. China Toy Association, concerned that only the young adult market demand for a toy, the annual income totaled 50 billion yuan. Born in the sixties and seventies, particularly those who are generally regarded toys a good tool to ease the pressure. Currently, the group now has a certain economic strength, have the initiative and decision-making power consumption, its economic benefits can not be ignored.
However, despite the adult toy market are enticing, but nearly 6,000 domestic toy manufacturers, most only produce children’s toys. Market participants pointed out that domestic market share of adult toys only 1%. Potential is great, but the actual size enterprises are small, low input low output, leading to the market has not fully developed. Visible, with the accelerated pace of life, adults need a positive way of recreation and rest to relieve work pressure, toys naturally into the life. Adult toys and presents tremendous opportunities for the consumer market.

Regrettably perhaps, I have both versions of this toy. I would like to see different Ultimate toys (most notably Optimus Prime) in the future. This seems like the next-generation of transformers in many ways, with the animatronics and the audio content. But aside from that, purely as a transformer, it’s still quite worthy to own. Large, very realistic, good detail. Not so easy to transform, especially as some of the connections need some carefully-applied force to engage/disengage (a knife can be useful). But not bad once you do it a couple times. The instructions are much better than nothing, and half the satisfaction is figuring out for yourself how to get from one step to the next.
The car mode is fun, and of course you can spin the one wheel to keep the audio going if you want to pass on rolling it around, but the skids are easier with the latter approach. Robot mode, as noted in another review, seems to fail full expectations. Yes, I have the same problem with mine as mentioned – it seems unresponsive to sound or motion, and shuts down after 30 seconds or so if no button is pressed. Interestingly, I don’t have the same issue with the first model. If I stand them facing each other and set them off, the earlier model will respond and continue interaction while the newer one obliviously quits unless prodded. Did they leave this feature out on the newer one?
As for the content, both models reflect their respective movie roles. I happen to like the earlier one better, but it’s a matter of taste. The doors fit better on the newer one, and the mask is cool but a hassle to get on. The Ultimate Bumblebee is a worthy addition to a collection, and many won’t care if the thing won’t respond unless you push a button. The new technology takes the transformer into a more pure “toy” mode, where it doesn’t perhaps stand out from the non-transforming competition. But it certainly opens a new dimension for the many-faceted transformers.
If you care about the responsiveness issue, might prefer a more musical, less serious audio content, and can tolerate some possible door issues, you might consider spending a few extra bucks and get the earlier model.
OVERALL: A very good figure that I’d recommend picking up if you’re considering it. It’s a great deal of fun, and the animatronics do make him seem a little more real than a normal figure. My kids love when I get Ultimate Bumblebee out, and even my wife has been telling me how cool she thinks it is, which is a first for her with any Transformer figure.

Without a doubt, one of the coolest toys in Bandai’s Ben 10 line is the Omnitrix F/X wristband, an exact replica of the one that Ben wears on the hit Cartoon Network animated TV show. This wristband is adjustable and should fit all but the tiniest wrists without a problem. The toys is filled with various lights and sound effects that are taken direct from the TV show.
On the dial is all 10 of the heroes that Ben can transform into. A green light inside illuminates the dial so you can see each of the figures. Turning it makes one sound effect. Keep turning the dial until you find the figure of your choice. Now press the dial all the way down to lock it into place and watch out…several green lights blink all over the wristband as the sounds blare and Ben, or your littler one, become Heatblast, Ghostfreak, Fourarms, or any of the other seven characters, and you’re ready to battle the evil Vilgax.
Once your ready to switch characters, just press the button, a red light will blink, and the dial will popup with yet another sound effect and you can now choose a different character on the dial. The lights will remain lit for a short time and eventually turn off by themselves, again with its own unique sound.
The Ominitrx F/X was a very fun toy and fans of the show will love it.

Alternate View
Santa brought these watches for our sons, ages 3 and 4, who love acting like they are changing into aliens and chasing “bad” guys. They were thrilled when they opened them, however, their glee turned to disappointment less than eight hours later when one of the watches stopped working. We replaced the battery this morning after the stores reopened, but that didn’t help. The manufacturer, Bandai, was of no help. I’ve been asked to return the watch to their facility, and then in 4-6 weeks we will receive either a repaired watch, a replacement watch, or even the broken watch (if they don’t have any in stock). How do you explain that to a four-year old who waited months to receive this watch?! And to make it worse, his brother’s watch still works. The customer service rep was unfriendly and failed to try to help at all. Buyer beware!

Taboo! your way to an eventful Night…

It sounds so simple: get your team to name common words without voicing a few choice descriptors. But could you describe a wristwatch without mentioning time, wrist, or clock? Taboo rewards those who think–and speak–fast. The team that correctly identifies as many words as possible in a minute (measured with an hourglass timer) wins. If a member of the opposing team, armed with the blaring buzzer, catches the clue giver using any of the taboo words, a point is deducted from the group’s score. It’s a good idea to separate people who know each other well, because their familiarity can be too great an advantage. If the clue is spinach, prompting with “Mom made this every Monday” just doesn’t seem fair, though it is permissible according to the rules. Playing Taboo requires an AA battery and a sense of humor–you’ll need them both! The timer is included. Taboo is for four or more players. –Leah Ball
The premise: Get your team to say the word at the top of the card without saying any of the other words on the card. Think you can do it? It’s harder than it seems.
This game is a lot of fun because you will suddenly find it challenging — and funny! — to express a very simple word, phrase, or person that everyone knows. Everyone will laugh as you take turns grasping for alternate and creative ways to say the words that are “taboo.” This game should be a classic “party” game because it engages all players (you take turns guessing, reading cards, and making sure the opposing team doesn’t say words they’re not supposed to!) and even though people may not think it’s their kind of thing beforehand, everyone always ends up having fun.

The bad news: the cards go by very quickly. The rules suggest you go around in a circle so that everyone gets to read cards once, and then the game is over. But the game is so much fun that it never ends there. In one sitting, you can end up going through a quarter of the words — that means potentially, you could finish the entire game just by playing it four times! This is disappointing, especially if you play through the whole thing right after buying it. My suggestion is if you like the game that much, make up your own cards with your friends. I would still buy a copy of the original game though, to play through the original cards, and of course, for the endlessly entertaining buzzer.

Electronic Pictionary Man Game

I got this product on the day before Thanksgiving and the next day my parents, my wife’s parents and other family members came over to the house. We had folks varying in age from one another by over fifty years. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had an absolute blast with this game.
The rules are easy to learn and it is easy to master the interface (one power switch and two buttons) on the digital menu that assigns the subjects that folks have to digitally represent.
The set includes:
1) The Pictionary “Man” which is a blank human shaped figure made of, what seems to be, a dry erase board type material. On the bottom of the foot of the “Man” one finds an on/off switch, an LED display and two buttons (labeled 1 and 2, respectively). After one turns the switch on, one presses the #1 button to get one’s general subject (Person, Title, Misc., Role Play, Action, etc.). One announces the general subject to one’s team. One then presses the #1 button again to get the specific topic (if it is a person it might be anyone from Ghandi to Moe from the Three Stooges). One DOES NOT tell anyone else what the specific subject is. One must use items 1-4 to convey, visually, what this specific subject is. If one’s teammates guess the subject successfully, then the team gets a point. The first team to 15 wins. The #2 button is used only in the “Challenge” round, which is played after seven questions. One can learn more about the “Challenge” round by purchasing the game.
2) A rectagular object made of the same material that opens up and stores various other game pieces.
3) A cylindrical object made of the same material that does not open up to store items.
4) Two blue markers (one for each team) that are used to draw on items 1-3 in order to create visual clues that will allow one to guess the subject offered by the Pictionary “Man”.
5) A cloth that erases the blue marks but, miraculously, does not turn blue as it erases!
6) A score card that has “Team 1″ and “Team 2″ printed on it. Next to each team name, there is a series of 15 boxes, which one checks off, respectively, as each team earns points. The score card is marked with the provided markers and cleans as easily as items 1-3. You never create more than two teams. With more people, you just increase the size of the teams.
7) The rules of the game are also provided.
BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED. You have to provide three AAA batteries on your own, but that is a small sacrifice to make for the joy of playing such a wonderful game.
For the first few questions, we had a hard time. We were getting subjects like “Ribeye Steak” or “Groin”. As the game went on, though, we started doing things more creatively. For instance, we once got the action subject “slide”. We didn’t even draw. All we did was take the rectangle, put it at an incline and slid the Pictionary “Man” down it. It took only a few guesses before somebody got slide. The other team then got the action “mount”. They drew a picture of a horse on the rectangle and then moved the Pictionary “Man” in such a way that he appeared to be mounting the horse.
At the end of the evening, and this is the most important part, I told everyone that I would be reviewing this game and I needed their input. I asked them, “How many stars, out of five, does this game deserve?” Men, women, senior citizens, middle aged folks, newlyweds and youngsters all agreed, FIVE STARS.
The game made for a great introduction to a fabulous family get together. Everyone enjoyed it and it really loosened people up. Folks who used to just come to eat and who barely spoke were really getting involved. We all had lots of fun and it really inspired us to be creative. Even though the first few words felt impossible to us, we quickly found new ways to convey messages visually and had a blast doing it.
So, five stars for fun, five stars for durability, five stars for being a great social activity for every demographic and four stars for educational value. It might not be a day at school, but it does inspire one to think in new ways, and that’s good enough for something that’s just so darn fun.
