A Comment Contest With a Difference…

Welcome to Alltoysreview.com’s biggest contest to date. This will work just like our previous comment contests, but with a difference.

I will be giving out the prizes when I reach 4000 RSS Subscribers. That may sound like a way off, but it’s very plausible. Alltoysreview is still growing well, but I’ve never chosen to push my subscription options too much. Whereas some websites include a HUGE RSS icon, a free e-book for subscribers, or various other RSS promotions, I’ve always focused more on my content. Due to this, my visitor base has gone up and up, and to fair so has my subscriber count. However, I’m really keen to get my content to even more feedreaders/inboxes.

Be sure to subscribe today.

The Prizes

As a little extra incentive, I’ve compiled my largest prize fund ever. I’ll be giving away a huge $931.70 worth of prizes!

Please carefully read the terms and conditions of this contest below, and good luck!

  • Winners will be selected once Alltoysreview.com has reached 4000 RSS subscribers, and not based on any specific time frame. All entries are valid up to this point.

Ben 10 Alien Creation Chamber

cham Ben 10 Alien Creation ChamberThe Ben 10 Alien Creation Chamber set lets kids create thousands of unique alien figures with the twist of a knob. The set includes four figures with interchangeable alien parts. Using the chamber, kids can mix and match parts to create a different custom Ben 10 alien creature every time. The Alien Chamber unit also works as a storage unit for your aliens. It has a special alien key to unlock figures and is recommended for kids above 4 years.

* Set include four alien figures
* Six alien special recipes for challenging game play
* Special alien key to unlock figures
* Attached storage box for extra alien parts

cham2 Ben 10 Alien Creation ChamberBought this for my son’s 6th birthday. He has asked for it for months. I paid $30 for it and he was super excited. Got it home to find out that you have to tweak the unit every time you go to make an alien, and if everything isn’t lined up just right the parts won’t go together. I can get it to work 95% of the time and my son can get it to work 5% of the time. He loves it, but it causes him a lot of frustration. It might be great for an older child who is ok with bumping the parts into place when they don’t line up, but for a 6 yo who expects it to work the way its shows on TV it is a big letdown.

Our item came with a spare clip for the torso, but we have had it one day and have had to replace the original clip already. Not a well made toy at all.

Alternate View

I bought this for my 5-year-old Grandson’s birthday and he really loves it. He and I usually play it together when he comes to visit on weekends. I say he and I because some of the controls are too stiff for him to work. Specifically, there’s thumb-wheels that you spin to select arms, leg unit, and head after you manually insert the body part. One of the thumb-wheels is difficult for even me to work and, after finally getting it to turn, jerks the whole unit so hard some/all of the parts come loose and fly out of the unit.

cham 3Also, to make the whole thing work, there’s a dial/button you first turn until the parts are together and the lights lite up then push down to pop the assembled Ben10 character off. About 3/4 of the time, my grandson can’t turn this or push it down and, when I do it, the aforementioned disaster happens. Not that I mind playing with my grandson but he plays with it by himself between weekends but ends up just assembling/disassembling the characters without the machine. After several weeks, we’ve had no breakage. He’s now become bored with the toy but additional 2-packs of Ben10 characters ($15.00–yikes!) rekindle (no pun intended) his interest.

Ben 10 Total Transformation Game!

bbb Ben 10 Total Transformation Game!Ben 10 Total Transformation Game – The top-selling toys now have an exciting, unique game to accompany them! Based on Cartoon Network’s smash hit, this game features a three-dimensional Omnitrix that tells players what alien they turn into. Will it be the one they need to fight the villain they just encountered? If it is, you’ve captured it and continue on to your next challenge

* Includes game board, Omnitrix unit, alien cards, villian cards, movers and stands and instructions
* 3 dimensional Omnitrix that tells players what aliens they turn into
* Based on the Cartoon Network show
* for 2 to 4 players
* Fun for the whole family

My 4 year old is obsessed with Ben 10 and has been for over a year now, I got this game for him for his 4th birthday actually because he loves board games and he is a smart for his age so I figured he would maybe be able to do it even with the age recommendation. He definitely gets it and wants to play it repeatedly every single day. I, however find it so boring and lame. They could have really put some more thought into it to make it more interesting and fun. It’s like they just said to themselves “Hey, Ben 10 is getting popular, let’s put out as much merchandise as possible as quickly as possible so we can make money.” But, I guess the point is that my son loves it and will even play by himself. My biggest complaint is that they do not tell you the names of the villains anywhere and there is one in particular they we do not know the name of because he’s only breifly in one episode and his name is never mentioned. They could have done a much better job at their villain selection amoung other things.

Ben 10 Omnitrix F/X!

omi Ben 10 Omnitrix F/X!The Deluxe OMNITRIX is true to scale for realistic role play. Every Ben 10 fan is sure to recognize the unmistakable sounds depicting the transformation from Ben to Alien.

* Each of the 10 Aliens’ silhouettes can be seen on the face of the watch
* Recommended age range 4 years and up

Without a doubt, one of the coolest toys in Bandai’s Ben 10 line is the Omnitrix F/X wristband, an exact replica of the one that Ben wears on the hit Cartoon Network animated TV show. This wristband is adjustable and should fit all but the tiniest wrists without a problem. The toys is filled with various lights and sound effects that are taken direct from the TV show.

omi2 Ben 10 Omnitrix F/X!On the dial is all 10 of the heroes that Ben can transform into. A green light inside illuminates the dial so you can see each of the figures. Turning it makes one sound effect. Keep turning the dial until you find the figure of your choice. Now press the dial all the way down to lock it into place and watch out…several green lights blink all over the wristband as the sounds blare and Ben, or your littler one, become Heatblast, Ghostfreak, Fourarms, or any of the other seven characters, and you’re ready to battle the evil Vilgax.

Once your ready to switch characters, just press the button, a red light will blink, and the dial will popup with yet another sound effect and you can now choose a different character on the dial. The lights will remain lit for a short time and eventually turn off by themselves, again with its own unique sound.

The Ominitrx F/X was a very fun toy and fans of the show will love it.

Alternate View

omi 3Santa brought these watches for our sons, ages 3 and 4, who love acting like they are changing into aliens and chasing “bad” guys. They were thrilled when they opened them, however, their glee turned to disappointment less than eight hours later when one of the watches stopped working. We replaced the battery this morning after the stores reopened, but that didn’t help. The manufacturer, Bandai, was of no help. I’ve been asked to return the watch to their facility, and then in 4-6 weeks we will receive either a repaired watch, a replacement watch, or even the broken watch (if they don’t have any in stock). How do you explain that to a four-year old who waited months to receive this watch?! And to make it worse, his brother’s watch still works. The customer service rep was unfriendly and failed to try to help at all. Buyer beware!
